For us techs, Cisco Live 2026 starts with a map with gaff tape on the back so it doesn’t crinkle. Then we sip coffee and spread it out on a table and say, “Well… how are we going to pull this off?”
Cable gets run, equipment gets installed. You thought! A cable gets cut, something gets unplugged, and of course, no one unplugged it. A wire that was there yesterday somehow isn’t there today. I guess someone needed that wire for something else. But that’s part of the fun.
The Tater Networks team has a simple approach. Find the problem, curse at the problem, then laugh about the problem, maybe play Magic the gathering, and ultimately fix the problem fast.
After all the long hours and problem-solving, the time seems to go by pretty quick when you’re dealing with these issues, not as coworkers, but more as a family.
That’s the nature of the beast we call Cisco Live. And this is how Tater Networks team does it. A lot of planning, a little chaos, plenty of laughs, and a family of techs that always finds a way to get the job done.
